Teeth Whitening | Wedding Day

Helping You Smile On Your Big Day

Here at Inverurie Smile Care, we have noticed an increasing trend for teeth whitening from Brides-to-be for their wedding day!

Our dentists can provide a suitable, affordable option that can also be used well past the big day. This information is to give you a basic understanding of what our dentists can offer. The teeth whitening system our dentists use is a bespoke moulded tray that will fit your own teeth. A whitening solution is then used either nightly or weekly until the desired result is achieved.

Once you have the moulds, and on the advice of your dentist, you have the ability to top up on more whitening solution throughout the year.

With the run up to a wedding being one of the most stressful times for a bride and with so many last minute things to do, we have created a wedding whiter teeth countdown!

Countdown…

Tooth whitening can lighten the shade of your natural teeth which can be a great boost to your self-esteem, ensuring a bright, radiant smile for your special day. Inverurie Smile Care will be exhibiting at the Wedding Weekender, giving you information about our award-winning dental practice and how you can book a consultation appointment with our qualified, professional dentists.

3 Months Before The Wedding

3 Months before your wedding is the ideal time to have your consultation, where your dentist will assess whether you are suitable for the treatment, following which the impressions for your custom fit bleaching trays are taken.

Your dentist will then give you a follow-up appointment for the near future to collect your trays.

2 Months Before the Wedding

Your dentist will then provide you with your bespoke trays and you will be given the whitening solution with instructions on how to apply and how long to leave it on.

1 Month Before your Wedding

After you have completed your treatment, and a few weeks before your wedding, your dentist may advise that you make an appointment for a small top up.

We are open 8-8pm and have free designated parking. For more details about teeth whitening see here

Important Information

Each treatment plan our dentists provide are individual, and your dentist must first examine you at your consultation, assess your suitability, and, upon satisfactory consultation, outline everything about the treatment, so that you are properly informed about it. Tooth whitening can lighten the shade of your natural teeth, but before you commit to having treatment it’s important that you’re fully aware of what to expect, what the risks are and who is allowed to carry it out. Only customers over 18 years old are eligible to start the tooth whitening treatment. Any Tooth Whitening will only be undertaken and accepted after a full clinical examination to ascertain the suitability of the potential customer to which the dentist is satisfied. The dentist will be the final arbiter of acceptance for Tooth Whitening. The tooth whitening service provided at our dental practice aims to be affordable, as you are charged a set fee for the whole procedure, and you are not charged by the number of appointments you have.

Our Inverurie Dentist abides by the General Dental Council's (GDC) legal position on how tooth whitening can only safely be administered by registered dental professionals, and we advise you read their leaflet(s) / tooth whitening information on what to expect on their website.

Furthermore, we abide by the GDC’s advertising standards in making you aware that the treatment advertised may not be appropriate for every patient and that it is conditional on a satisfactory assessment being carried out.You will also need to have any tooth decay, gum disease, or any other required treatment completed before commencing whitening, and there may be some occasions when the dentists at our Inverurie dental practice don't advise you to have your teeth whitening. We must also assess every patient, obtain appropriate consent, obtain a medical history and explain all the options before carrying out any work.
